Gotta be a legal expert to rent these days

The land lord wanted to increase the rent 20%, they tried to avoid this by simply refusing to extend the lease. The only reason the tenant was able to maintain a strict 10% rise was because of extensive knowledge of tenancy law and a willingness to go to QCAT.
